With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Gonza in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Emil Hermansson saved Theuns from getting behind. Manuel Antono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Inguana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Golden Arrows defense, Joseph Inguana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Antono. The Golden Arrows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Antono should have stopped the shot. Seto Bastari struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nils-Emil Hermansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Arrows. In the 10th minute Arkadiusz Wnukowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Magagane in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Wnukowski in the 15th minute of play forced Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Gonza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils-Emil Hermansson. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Jânio Motta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nils-Emil Hermansson. The goal made the score 2-1. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Theuns from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Thabile Arendse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Theuns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Arrows the free kick. After 34 played minutes Theuns got a freekick which was hit by Thabile Arendse. If Joseph Inguana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Motta in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Arkadiusz Wnukowski made the kick off in the second half. Joseph Inguana's late challenge caught a Golden Arrows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Inguana helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the game, Golden Arrows's Arkadiusz Wnukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Darren Lekgwathi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Wnukowski in the 58th minute of the match. Manuel Antono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Khomane, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Theuns's goal looked a bit too open when Ismail Komani came free, but Nils-Emil Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio Motta took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils-Emil Hermansson. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Golden Arrows's Jânio Motta tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Golden Arrows's Arkadiusz Wnukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After a rather tough play, Theuns's Madolo Kubheka got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Arkadiusz Wnukowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Gonza in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Isidoor Goons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismail Komani scored 8-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Emil Hermansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Golden Arrows walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
