In the 57th minute Osmar Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Gomola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Osmar Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Sedeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Mendes couldn't finish the play. Ivan Lučenič charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugen Gomola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, FC Sedeni's Matej Madeja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugen Gomola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Eugen Gomola throw himself and got hold of the ball when Osmar Mendes in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Poniky fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Sedeni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
