Spectators: 5801 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michal Bojničan started the match with the kick off. Jozef Mudroň was a little too slow when Peter Konczan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ahmet Ozan Zihni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Bojničan in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Časnocha in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jozef Mudroň prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michal Časnocha took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jozef Mudroň. Jozef Mudroň dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, Sebechleby FK's goalkeeper Jozef Mudroň had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Časnocha. Jozef Mudroň took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Masarovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Ozan Zihni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krištof Schurger in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, FK Dukla Banská Bystrica's Matej Líška seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matej Líška the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FK Dukla Banská Bystrica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matej Líška had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 28 minutes into the game, one of FK Dukla Banská Bystrica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FK Dukla Banská Bystrica's Michal Časnocha got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FK Dukla Banská Bystrica booed when Sebechleby FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Káčer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Časnocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Dávid Bolčík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Ozan Zihni. FK Dukla Banská Bystrica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dávid Bolčík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Michal Časnocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jozef Mudroň tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Michal Časnocha made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Michal Časnocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jozef Mudroň. Sebechleby FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Časnocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Ivan Žembera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Mudroň having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Sebechleby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Urbányi came free, but Jozef Mudroň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Časnocha in the 60th minute of play forced Sebechleby FK's goalkeeper Jozef Mudroň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Michal Časnocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Mudroň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Dušan Piroško managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebechleby FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dušan Piroško was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jozef Mudroň showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Časnocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Michal Časnocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Sebechleby FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Urbányi came free, but Jozef Mudroň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sebechleby FK defense, Miroslav Masarovič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jozef Mudroň. The Sebechleby FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jozef Mudroň should have stopped the shot. Michal Časnocha scored 6-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jozef Mudroň, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Ozan Zihni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Bojničan in the 96th minute of play.
