In the 18thth minute of the game Richard Krajňák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuberec FC's Juraj Janičkovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Michal Marčok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Vagaský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Kaňuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes FC Dukla Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Michal Marčok. Matúš Vlach came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Vagaský could save by the left post. In the 28th minute Bernard Kaňuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vagaský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Richard Krajňák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dukla Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 35th minute of the match Dalibor Záhoran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Vagaský skillfully saved the ball. FC Dukla Rangers's Richard Krajňák got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberec FC's zone, Michal Marčok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juraj Janičkovič came out of the goal and Michal Marčok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes of play, Zuberec FC's Matej Šimkovič made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Vagaský was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Zuberec FC's zone, Richard Krajňák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juraj Janičkovič came out of the goal and Richard Krajňák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Zuberec FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Dukla Rangers were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Krajňák made a kick off. Marek Efler kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Richard Krajňák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Krajňák in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juraj Janičkovič, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 65 minutes into the match, Zuberec FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Krajňák came free, but Juraj Janičkovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Dukla Rangers booed when Zuberec FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Efler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberec FC's goalkeeper Juraj Janičkovič, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Krajňáks short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Juraj Janičkovič to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the game, Richard Krajňák lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Juraj Janičkovič. In the 84th minute, Matej Šimkovič made a precise shot to the right of Roman Vagaský. FC Dukla Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Krajňák in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juraj Janičkovič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Krajňák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Dukla Rangers played a much better game than Zuberec FC and deserved their victory. The Zuberec FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
