Livina's Tomáš Stanislav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Paštrnák in the 7th minute of play. Viktor Ox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brestov's Richard Meluš got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Ox in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibor Valach saved Brestov from getting behind. After 31st play minutes Miroslav Timko shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Tibor Valach and just under the crossbar into goal. Ján Miženko took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Stanislav. Miroslav Timkos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Tibor Valach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Brestov's zone, Viktor Ox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Valach came out of the goal and Viktor Ox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Meluš charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Miženko in the 94th minute of play forced Livina's goalkeeper Tomáš Stanislav to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
