Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pavol Ďurkovič started the match with the kick off. Jozef Gábriš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Turoň received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Richard Pitoňák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pavol Ďurkovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Pitoňák came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Rumince's Richard Turoň. But to his dismay, Richard Turoň quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Richard Pitoňák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavol Ďurkovič in the 22nd minute of the match. When Pavol Ďurkovič fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rumince's protests and gave Pavol Ďurkovič a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Pavol Ďurkovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jozef Gábriš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Harsanyi having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Jozef Gábriš made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Harsanyi. Rumince's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Juraj Nagy had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Viktor Mišík's late challenge caught a Jenkovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Mišík helped the player get up and apologised. Viktor Mišík hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes, Marek Malinovský mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jenkovce and the Rumince players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the game, Richard Turoň recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Pitoňák. Richard Turoň showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ivan Harsanyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Gábriš in the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rumince defense, Jozef Gábriš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Harsanyi. The Rumince fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Harsanyi should have stopped the shot. Ján Dubinský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jozef Gábriš was the one to do the kick off. Rumince's Pavol Ďurkovič got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jozef Gábriš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Harsanyi having to interfere. When Richard Turoň fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rumince's protests and gave Richard Turoň a yellow card for diving instead. Henrich Hrašna charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrich Hrašna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 68 minutes into the game, one of Jenkovce:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jozef Gábriš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Harsanyi having to make a save. Richard Pitoňák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavol Ďurkovič in the 80th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
