Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Trenčan kicked off to start the match. With an all-out effort, Lesnica's Ivo Ilavský threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Róbert Hýll, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jozef Schmitt's late challenge caught a Machulince's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jozef Schmitt helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Ivana, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Róbert Hýll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ján Krak was a little too slow when Peter Trenčan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-2. Machulince's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
