The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbert Trišč got free with Michal Timočko in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 26 minutes, Stano Grexa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benkovce FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stano Grexa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Marcel Kotulak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benkovce FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Necpaly FC the free kick. Marcel Kotulak kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michal Timočko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a left leg Michal Timočko saved Benkovce FK from getting behind. Róbert Trišč received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Michal Timočko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Benkovce FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
