Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) Vladimír Martinec's late challenge caught a Lastovce FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimír Martinec helped the player get up and apologised. Viktor Soták kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Juraj Maršálek came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nitra FC's Zdeno Sabadoš. But to his dismay, Zdeno Sabadoš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Richard Hajdúch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Lukáč having to interfere. Zdeno Sabadoš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Juraj Maršálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juraj Jančík hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeno Sabadoš in the 39th minute of play forced Lastovce FK's goalkeeper Juraj Maršálek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Ľubomír Futej elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lastovce FK defense, Zdeno Sabadoš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juraj Maršálek. The Lastovce FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juraj Maršálek should have stopped the shot.

Zdeno Sabadoš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juraj Maršálek having to make a save. Vladimír Martinec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdeno Sabadoš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matej Benický fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juraj Maršálek having to interfere. Lastovce FK's Juraj Maršálek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lastovce FK from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Zdeno Sabadoš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimír Martinec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juraj Maršálek having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zdeno Sabadoš managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nitra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdeno Sabadoš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juraj Maršálek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes Lastovce FK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Soták. With a little luck, Lastovce FK's Juraj Maršálek got control of the ball when Zdeno Sabadoš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zdeno Sabadoš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Juraj Maršálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimír Martinec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute Ľubomír Futej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Lukáč saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juraj Maršálek came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Nitra FC's Vladimír Martinec. But to his dismay, Vladimír Martinec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Nitra FC's Erik Lukáč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Hajdúch in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gabriel Adamek hit a great ball. Erik Lukáč took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Hajdúch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lastovce FK's zone, Zdeno Sabadoš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juraj Maršálek came out of the goal and Zdeno Sabadoš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Nitra FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lastovce FK.
