Valkovce FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miroslav Demian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Celko, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Valkovce FK's zone, Tomáš Belža stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Demian came out of the goal and Tomáš Belža tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomáš Belža had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Belža in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Demian saved Valkovce FK from getting behind. After 30 minutes of play, Lesnica's Michal Celko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslav Demian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Varmuža kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Michal Celko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Celko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Demian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Celko in the 43rd minute of play forced Valkovce FK's goalkeeper Miroslav Demian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lesnica's Matej Ilavský proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Lesnica from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Csontos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Oliver Csontos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Ilavský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lesnica booed when Valkovce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ľubomír Nociar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Hrúz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Michal Celko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valkovce FK's Miroslav Demian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Valkovce FK from getting a goal against them. If Jozef Riedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lesnica played a much better game than Valkovce FK and deserved their victory. The Valkovce FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
