Gabriel Marinčák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Machava, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Stano Zedník's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Špaček was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mudrovce's zone, Tomáš Machava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Marinčák came out of the goal and Tomáš Machava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stano Zedník was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roland Šimonovič kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Machava in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Marinčák saved Mudrovce from getting behind. Mudrovce's Gabriel Marinčák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslav Rajčo in the 38th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radoslav Rajčo made a kick off. If Stanislav Krupec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Filip Cupka was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Mudrovce's Filip Cupka got a free kick in the 57th minute. Adam Štofka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gabriel Marinčák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslav Rajčo in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mudrovce's zone, Radoslav Rajčo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Antalovič's late challenge caught a Mudrovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Antalovič helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mudrovce booed when Girovce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Antalovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Stanislav Krupec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomáš Špaček was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 78th minute, Radoslav Rajčo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Gabriel Marinčák managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Girovce FC's Tomáš Machava fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomáš Machava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Marinčák having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Radoslav Rajčo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girovce FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radoslav Rajčo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomáš Machava struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gabriel Marinčák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girovce FC. If Stano Zedník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mudrovce's Gabriel Marinčák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Mudrovce from getting a goal against them. Girovce FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
