An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Semenník in the 19th minute of play forced Bielovce's goalkeeper Róbert Šafranka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Tibor Štafura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Tomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gabriel Bába tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ján Šafranka during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ján Šafranka hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrej Vanko to make the kick off. Tibor Štafuras short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Róbert Šafranka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel Bába made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Starší in the 58th minute of play. Tibor Štafura struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Róbert Šafranka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestisko FC. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Róbert Šafranka successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Róbert Šafranka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibor Štafura in the 62nd minute. Tibor Štafura had several of the Bielovce's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Róbert Šafranka as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Tibor Štafura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
