After 22 minutes, Juraj Onofer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brezina and the Mestisko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brezina's Róbert Bernolák got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gabriel Bába showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Rospopa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gabriel Bába showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Pitoňák in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrej Vanko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mestisko FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tibor Štafura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maroš Bienik having to interfere. After 77th play minutes Tibor Štafura shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Maroš Bienik and just under the crossbar into goal. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Alexander Rospopa made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gabriel Bába would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
