Miloslavov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Urgošík was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Peter Mandl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, FK Humenné's Peter Mandl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matej Notár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Pavol Kučera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavol Kučera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavol Kučera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Matej Notár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Peter Mandl took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Matej Notár to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Peter Mandl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jozef Koreň took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Dalayer. Sabri Dalayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Jozef Koreň made a precise shot to the right of Sabri Dalayer. FK Humenné's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Matej Notár made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavol Kučera in the 36th minute. Tomáš Urgošík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sabri Dalayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Pavol Kučera made a precise shot to the right of Matej Notár. Miloslavov FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Sabri Dalayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Angyal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Miloslavov FC's zone, Pavol Kučera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matej Notár came out of the goal and Pavol Kučera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matej Notár stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavol Kučera's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Pavol Kučera came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FK Humenné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavol Kučera couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Pavol Kučera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Notár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FK Humenné's Peter Mandl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matej Notár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the FK Humenné players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
