When Stano Špánik came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pribeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stano Špánik couldn't finish the play. Pribeta's Peter Paštrnák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imrich Ondruš in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Ladislav Harach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Turanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stano Špánik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Turanec having to interfere. Ladislav Harach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Martin Turanec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stano Špánik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Turanec having to interfere. Lukáš Čabák kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Pribeta's Stano Špánik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Turanec was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Ladislav Harach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Turanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Stano Špánik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pribeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Stano Špánik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Turanec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Ladislav Harach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Turanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Ladislav Harach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Stano Špánik came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Pribeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stano Špánik couldn't finish the play. Martin Turanec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Harach, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Ladislav Harach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Turanec. The goal made the score 0-2. A collision led to Pribeta getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Urban Bartoš hit a great ball. Ladislav Harach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stano Špánik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martin Turanec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pribeta's Ladislav Harach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Turanec. That made the score 0-3 after 75 minutes of play. Michalovce's Martin Turanec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Michalovce from getting a goal against them. Stano Špánik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Turanec having to interfere. Ladislav Harach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Turanec having to interfere. When the match was over Pribeta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Michalovce throughout the match.
