Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matúš Hrabovský made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Peter Kotlarík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lada FK's Róbert Jurčák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olšanský in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Róbert Paliesek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lada FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbert Paliesek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kosmas Vakalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matúš Hrabovský in the 16th minute of play. Róbert Bolčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Jurčák having to interfere. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Kosmas Vakalis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Tatran HLOHOVEC from getting a goal against them. When Matej Hurt fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatran HLOHOVEC's protests and gave Matej Hurt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Richard Ivanič sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tatran HLOHOVEC's Kosmas Vakalis didn't even have to move. Róbert Jurčák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olšanský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Lada FK's Róbert Paliesek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kosmas Vakalis. Kosmas Vakalis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lada FK's goalkeeper Róbert Jurčák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olšanský in the 40th minute of play forced Lada FK's goalkeeper Róbert Jurčák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matúš Hrabovský received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kosmas Vakalis came out and tried to block the shot, but Matúš Hrabovský slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. Róbert Jurčák came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Tatran HLOHOVEC's Adam Olšanský. But to his dismay, Adam Olšanský quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

61 minutes into the match, Tatran HLOHOVEC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Paliesek came free, but Kosmas Vakalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Tatran HLOHOVEC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Kotlarík. Róbert Paliesek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Adam Olšanský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Jurčák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Róbert Paliesek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Adam Olšanský got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matúš Hrabovský might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kosmas Vakalis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matúš Hrabovský ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 played minutes Tatran HLOHOVEC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Kotlarík. If Matúš Hrabovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibor Čapo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Matúš Hrabovský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Tatran HLOHOVEC's goal looked a bit too open when Matúš Hrabovský came free, but Kosmas Vakalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Paliesek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kosmas Vakalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kosmas Vakalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Paliesek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
