After having played for 27 minutes, Marián Janček managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jozef Harmanec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zigmas Rudauskas in the 37th minute. Zigmas Rudauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jozef Harmanec made a huge save. Sergiu Goanță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Harmanec having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sergiu Goanță made the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Goanță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Zigmas Rudauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Harmanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Goanță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmad Argandona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Janček, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, FC Inter Príbovce's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Goanță came free, but Jozef Harmanec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matúš Verný during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmad Argandona came out of the goal and Dušan Prídavok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zigmas Rudauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zigmas Rudauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zigmas Rudauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Harmanec having to interfere. FC Inter Príbovce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergiu Goanță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. FC Inter Príbovce succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real Madrid C.F. had controlled the match.
