Ľubomír Srnka kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Michal Wagner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jozef Harmanec. FC Inter Príbovce's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Pressburg Backstreet Boys booed when FC Inter Príbovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Prídavok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marián Kukura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. When Marek Troják came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pressburg Backstreet Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Troják couldn't finish the play. Rastislav Dupal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Janček, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Marek Troják managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Troják was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match Michal Wagner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jozef Harmanec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Pressburg Backstreet Boys's Marián Kukura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jozef Harmanec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Inter Príbovce's zone, Marek Troják stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Marián Kukura notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Inter Príbovce's Jozef Harmanec. Jozef Harmanec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rastislav Dupal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Barčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Marek Troják shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Harmanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marek Troják stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marek Troják recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marián Janček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Filip Šrobár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match FC Inter Príbovce got a corner. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ľubomír Srnka ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ľubomír Srnka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rastislav Dupal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jozef Harmanec made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Marián Kukura sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Marián Kukura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jozef Harmanec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jozef Harmanec made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Marián Kukura sent off a good shot on target. Marek Troják fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Harmanec having to interfere. Marián Janček took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rastislav Dupal. Rastislav Dupal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 80th minute, Filip Šrobár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ľubomír Srnka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rastislav Dupal. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marián Kukura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pressburg Backstreet Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Marián Kukura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jozef Harmanec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pressburg Backstreet Boys had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
