Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juraj Bernát got the match started through his kick off. FK Zemedar's Ladislav Capík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ľubomír Figura in the 2nd minute of play. When Ľubomír Figura came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kvakovce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ľubomír Figura couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Kvakovce's Albert Bašišta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislav Capík made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Štefan Pisarčík charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Štefan Pisarčík the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FK Zemedar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tomáš Beňo's late challenge caught a Kvakovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kvakovce's Albert Bašišta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Ľubomír Figura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Capík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Zemedar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
