Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rudolf Koreň started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Jablonica's Martin Tomka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matúš Rafaj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 5 played minutes Lapaji got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Šramko. Juraj Thomka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Koreň, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rudolf Koreň kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Stanislav Capík struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Matúš Rafaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jablonica. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Tomka in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matúš Rafaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Martin Tomka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matúš Rafaj was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Martin Tomka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Matúš Rafaj made a huge save. Martin Tomka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Matúš Rafaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Roland Sedlo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapaji's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jablonica the free kick. Roland Sedlo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Stanislav Capík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matúš Rafaj. Lapaji's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislav Capík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Juraj Thomka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Lovich in the 30th minute of play. Stanislav Capík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matúš Rafaj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Capík in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Lapaji getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Miroslav Rudolf hit a great ball. The supporters of Jablonica booed when Lapaji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Šramko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jablonica's Juraj Thomka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Koreň in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Lapaji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Šramko to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Tomka was the one to do the kick off. Juraj Thomka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslav Šramko in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Tomka in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matúš Rafaj saved Lapaji from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Lapaji's Rudolf Koreň sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juraj Thomka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Martin Tomka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jablonica made a substitution. Antón Uhlár replaced Róbert Augustíny. In the 74th minute, František Turanec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Martin Tomka put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matúš Rafaj. 83 minutes into the game, Rudolf Koreň recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juraj Thomka. Rudolf Koreň showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Miroslav Šramko came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juraj Thomka could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Koreň in the 91st minute of play forced Jablonica's goalkeeper Juraj Thomka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Miroslav Šramko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roland Sedlo kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
