UX Hermanovce's Andrej Sobota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimír Šťastný in the 11th minute of play. Andrej Sobota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Šangala, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ondrej Cvečka hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Ladislav Šangala came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FK Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislav Šangala couldn't finish the play. Andrej Sobota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimír Šťastný went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes, Jozef Kapráľ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UX Hermanovce and the FK Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UX Hermanovce's Jozef Kapráľ got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maros Kvietkovič in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrej Sobota saved UX Hermanovce from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Ladislav Šangala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FK Real Madrid's Richard Kanálik got control of the ball when Tomáš Sedláček tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislav Šangala struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Andrej Sobota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Real Madrid. In the 34th minute, Ladislav Šangala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maros Kvietkovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrej Sobota having to interfere. Richard Kanálik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Berky, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ladislav Šangala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Andrej Sobota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Berky to make the kick off. Ondrej Cvečka's late challenge caught a FK Real Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ondrej Cvečka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Ondrej Cvečka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislav Šangala in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andrej Sobota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Andrej Sobota managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when FK Real Madrid's Ladislav Šangala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FK Real Madrid's Ladislav Šangala got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislav Šangala in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrej Sobota saved UX Hermanovce from getting behind. Richard Kanálik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, FK Real Madrid failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
