The supporters of Padarovce FC booed when MŠK Žilina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Pelikán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maroš Poláček hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Jakub Černý had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dušan Lopata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Šafranka charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Šafranka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Padarovce FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Simon Šafranka hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Padarovce FC's goalkeeper Ján Kočan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the MŠK Žilina defense, Jakub Černý kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Róbert Samák. The MŠK Žilina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Róbert Samák should have stopped the shot. If Dušan Lopata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tomáš Harčár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padarovce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Harčár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Samák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Lopata in the 40th minute of play forced Padarovce FC's goalkeeper Ján Kočan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Padarovce FC's goalkeeper Ján Kočan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maroš Poláček. 45 minutes into the match, Padarovce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Lopata came free, but Ján Kočan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dušan Lopata made a kick off. Marek Kazár hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ján Kočan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Padarovce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Lopata came free, but Ján Kočan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MŠK Žilina's Pavol Bauer got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MŠK Žilina's zone, Tomáš Harčár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Samák came out of the goal and Tomáš Harčár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Hnilica hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ján Kočan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Lopata in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, MŠK Žilina's goalkeeper Róbert Samák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Harčár. After 85 played minutes MŠK Žilina got a freekick which was hit by Tomáš Pelikán. MŠK Žilina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Tomáš Harčár scored to the left of an out of position Róbert Samák, making the score, 1-2. Ján Kočan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Starší in the 91st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dušan Lopata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ján Kočan was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. MŠK Žilina's Dušan Lopata got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Padarovce FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
