The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matej Medveď during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UX Hermanovce! Ľubomír Krasko's late challenge caught a UX Hermanovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ľubomír Krasko helped the player get up and apologised. Ľubomír Krasko hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, UX Hermanovce's Tomáš Berky nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomáš Habera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Lazy pod Makytou's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Leheň came free, but Tomáš Habera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavol Leheň fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Habera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomáš Berky in the 28th minute of play forced Lazy pod Makytou's goalkeeper Tomáš Habera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Pavol Leheň got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ľubomír Krasko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After 38 played minutes Lazy pod Makytou got a freekick which was hit by Ľubomír Krasko. After a defensive mix-up in Lazy pod Makytou's zone, Tomáš Berky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomáš Habera came out of the goal and Tomáš Berky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Ondrej Cvečka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Habera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Mišík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavol Leheň received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tomáš Habera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Lazy pod Makytou got a freekick which was hit by Antón Turanec. Lazy pod Makytou's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Tomáš Berky scored to the left of an out of position Tomáš Habera, making the score, 2-2. Pavol Leheň sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Tomáš Berky left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UX Hermanovce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Antón Turanec struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Andrej Sobota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazy pod Makytou. Lazy pod Makytou's Gabriel Mišík got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Mišík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The UX Hermanovce players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
