Spectators: 7369 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 100) FC Chawoya's Štefan Hupka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrej Cabak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Jež, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 10 minutes into the game, FC Chawoya's Štefan Hupka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrej Cabak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Radoslav Kudlak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrej Cabak skillfully saved the ball. When Gabriel Jež came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Chawoya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Jež couldn't finish the play. René Balajty might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrej Cabak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. René Balajty ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FK Hlohovec's Andrej Cabak got control of the ball when Štefan Hupka tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Chawoya's Branislav Kovaľčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Podmajerský in the 36th minute of play. Štefan Hupka succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Podmajerský to make the kick off. Gabriel Jež received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Andrej Cabak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrej Cabak came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chawoya's Gabriel Jež. But to his dismay, Gabriel Jež quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Štefan Hupka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Andrej Cabak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Branislav Kovaľčík made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Peter Hoják sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, FC Chawoya's goal looked a bit too open when Štefan Matta came free, but Branislav Kovaľčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrej Cabak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Balajty in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Jež in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrej Cabak saved FK Hlohovec from getting behind. Martin Masaryk kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Marguš in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrej Cabak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, FC Chawoya's Štefan Hupka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrej Cabak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. René Balajty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the FC Chawoya players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
