Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Slavomir Gyure made the kick off which started today's match. Pavol Angyal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Cesnek having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Milan Ihnačák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piestany Slayers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milan Ihnačák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milan Ihnačák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Cesnek having to interfere. Bohuš Koči came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Opoj's Norian Kusnier. But to his dismay, Norian Kusnier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alojz Cesnek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavol Angyal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norian Kusnier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bohuš Koči made a huge save. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Opoj's goalkeeper Alojz Cesnek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slavomir Gyure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute of the match, Norian Kusnier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bohuš Koči was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Norian Kusnier came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Opoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norian Kusnier couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Opoj's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Ihnačák came free, but Alojz Cesnek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alojz Cesnek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavol Angyal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Opoj's Slavomir Gyure got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavol Angyal to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Milan Ihnačák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piestany Slayers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pavol Angyal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Cesnek having to interfere. If Pavol Angyal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vratislav Augusta hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alojz Cesnek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavol Angyal in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Pavol Angyal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Opoj's Alojz Cesnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Angyal in the 80th minute of play. Alojz Cesnek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavol Angyal in the 81st minute of the match. Pavol Angyal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alojz Cesnek having to interfere. When Tibor Melicharek fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opoj's protests and gave Tibor Melicharek a yellow card for diving instead. Alojz Cesnek was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ľubomír Mračka. A collision led to Opoj getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Radomir Ondrejcik hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Milan Ihnačák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
