Spectators: 6834 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Podmajerský started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Ladislav Ruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Žigmund Sečanský had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrej Cabak. FK Hlohovec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Žigmund Sečanský was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Žigmund Sečanský blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrej Cabak having to make a save. If Žigmund Sečanský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žigmund Sečanský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrej Cabak having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Černý during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Teplička booed when FK Hlohovec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Černý didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Gabriel Černý hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Peter Hoják, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Antón Kaclík was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, FC Teplička's goalkeeper Antón Kaclík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Hoják. In the 34th minute, Gabriel Podmajerský fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Žigmund Sečanský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrej Cabak having to interfere. Žigmund Sečanský sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Žigmund Sečanský's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrej Cabak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Žigmund Sečanský to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Hoják fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antón Kaclík having to interfere. When Gabriel Černý was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. A collision led to FK Hlohovec getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gabriel Černý hit a great ball. Peter Hoják sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrej Cabak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žigmund Sečanský in the 66th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Richard Bajzík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrej Cabak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Žigmund Sečanský, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Andrej Cabak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Žigmund Sečanský in the 79th minute of the match. FC Teplička's Richard Bajzík got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Žigmund Sečanský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Richard Bajzík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrej Cabak. FK Hlohovec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Bajzík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The FC Teplička players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
