Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 100) FC Chawoya's Štefan Hupka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Branislav Kovaľčík stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žigmund Sečanský's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Miroslav Marguš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antón Kaclík having to make a save. When Gabriel Jež came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Chawoya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Jež couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute of the match Ladislav Ruda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Branislav Kovaľčík skillfully saved the ball. When Miroslav Marguš fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Chawoya's protests and gave Miroslav Marguš a yellow card for diving instead. Miroslav Marguš hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Branislav Kovaľčík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Žigmund Sečanský in the 25th minute of the match. Richard Bajzík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branislav Kovaľčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Ruda in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Gabriel Jež managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chawoya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Jež was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Teplička's zone, Ján Šálek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antón Kaclík came out of the goal and Ján Šálek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Gabriel Jež who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Teplička's Antón Kaclík was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žigmund Sečanský in the 37th minute of play forced FC Chawoya's goalkeeper Branislav Kovaľčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Štefan Hupka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antón Kaclík having to interfere. Štefan Hupka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antón Kaclík read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Žigmund Sečanský to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Richard Bajzík made a precise shot to the right of Branislav Kovaľčík. FC Chawoya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 57 minutes, Miroslav Marguš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chawoya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Marguš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Chawoya booed when FC Teplička was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Ruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Erik Ondejko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antón Kaclík skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Teplička's goalkeeper Antón Kaclík, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that René Balajty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antón Kaclík was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Žigmund Sečanský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Branislav Kovaľčík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Bajzík could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Branislav Kovaľčík made a huge save. A collision led to FC Chawoya getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erik Ondejko hit a great ball. Branislav Kovaľčík made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Richard Bajzík sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Štefan Hupka made a precise shot to the right of Antón Kaclík. FC Teplička's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Miroslav Marguš might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antón Kaclík. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miroslav Marguš ran back to his position shaking his head. If Štefan Hupka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the FC Chawoya players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
