FC Teplička's Richard Bajzík got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Piestany Slayers getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ján Kavalec hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Pavol Angyal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Kaclík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Milan Ihnačák came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Piestany Slayers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Ihnačák couldn't finish the play. Daniel Einhorn charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Žigmund Sečanský was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Teplička's goalkeeper Antón Kaclík, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antón Kaclík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Richard Bajzík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bohuš Koči. Piestany Slayers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Bajzík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 75 played minutes FC Teplička got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Pechočiak. FC Teplička's Antón Kaclík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavol Angyal in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Teplička's Martin Ruda got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bohuš Koči took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žigmund Sečanský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Teplička's supporters rose to their feet, but Žigmund Sečanský was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bohuš Koči breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When FC Teplička's Richard Bajzík, in the 97th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Teplička. In the 98th match minute, Piestany Slayers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ľubomír Mračka to maneuver through the defense. FC Teplička's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
