René Balajty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Slivoň having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, FC Chawoya's goal looked a bit too open when Matúš Koceľa came free, but Branislav Kovaľčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ján Srnka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OFK Mokrý Háj fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ján Šramko kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, OFK Mokrý Háj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ján Šramko to maneuver through the defense. Ján Šramko hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Branislav Kovaľčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ján Srnka in the 27th minute of play. FC Chawoya's Branislav Kovaľčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branislav Vladár in the 28th minute of play. Štefan Hupka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Milan Slivoň made a huge save. FC Chawoya's Gabriel Jež was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to FC Chawoya getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erik Ondejko hit a great ball. Branislav Kovaľčík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branislav Vladár, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Milan Slivoň was a little too slow when Gabriel Jež got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-1. With a little luck, OFK Mokrý Háj's Milan Slivoň got control of the ball when Štefan Hupka tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ján Srnka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Milan Slivoň took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Marguš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matúš Koceľa got free with Branislav Kovaľčík in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Jež scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milan Slivoň, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in OFK Mokrý Háj's zone, Gabriel Cvengroš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milan Slivoň came out of the goal and Gabriel Cvengroš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milan Slivoň showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Štefan Hupka in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, René Balajty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Chawoya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Matúš Koceľa charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matúš Koceľa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Štefan Hupka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, OFK Mokrý Háj's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Jež came free, but Milan Slivoň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Štefan Hupka notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of OFK Mokrý Háj's Milan Slivoň. Milan Slivoň was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
