Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ladislav Humeník started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tibor Józsa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Košičan in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Mikuláš Jankech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Volica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Bodnár to maneuver through the defense. Demjata's Peter Tunák got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michal Žilinovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Tunák, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Volica's Michal Žilinovský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Tunák in the 20th minute of play. When Demjata's Peter Tunák in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volica's goalie prevented a goal. Bohdan Čambal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes, Volica's Miroslav Tandara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tibor Józsa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Volica reached it. In the 27th minute, Tibor Pivarči hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th match minute, Volica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by František Ďurka to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match, Peter Tunák tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michal Žilinovský saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Košičan in the 34th minute of play forced Demjata's goalkeeper Tibor Józsa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Žilinovský was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bohdan Čambal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Aurel Bodnár sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Józsa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Volica booed when Demjata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Pivarči didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bohdan Čambal was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Volica's Eduard Košičan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibor Józsa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Volica's zone, Bohdan Čambal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Žilinovský came out of the goal and Bohdan Čambal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bohdan Čambal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Peter Tunák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demjata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Tunák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Bohdan Čambal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Marek Baran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peter Tunák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Bohdan Čambal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demjata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Bohdan Čambal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demjata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bohdan Čambal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Peter Tunák cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Michal Žilinovský was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Tunák struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Michal Žilinovský didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demjata.
