Spectators: 6885 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 50) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by František Ďurka during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, František Ďurka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volica's Ladislav Humeník got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ladislav Humeník recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eduard Pažický managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breznica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Pažický was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Žilinovský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ladislav Humeník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juraj Matiaško fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Žilinovský having to interfere. A collision led to Volica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marek Balážek hit a great ball. Michal Žilinovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Pažický in the 33rd minute of play. Eduard Pažický fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Žilinovský having to interfere. Marek Balážek kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Volica getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Matúš Rudolf hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Juraj Matiaško cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michal Žilinovský was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislav Humeník stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ján Paločko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes Volica got a freekick which was hit by František Ďurka. Martin Malý's late challenge caught a Breznica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Malý helped the player get up and apologised. 54 minutes into the game, one of Volica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Breznica. Dušan Hurray stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michal Žilinovský. 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Ladislav Humeník had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matúš Takáč. Breznica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislav Humeník was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, Volica's Michal Žilinovský got control of the ball when Ján Paločko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislav Humeník fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matúš Takáč having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ján Paločko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michal Žilinovský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Pažický in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Volica's Eduard Košičan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matúš Takáč made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, Ladislav Humeník notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Breznica's Matúš Takáč. Matúš Takáč was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eduard Pažický, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Michal Žilinovský was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ján Paločko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Žilinovský having to interfere. Breznica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
