After recieving a nice pass, Chynorany FC's Stanislav Matto tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona FC's zone, Viliam Valábik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukáš Balajty came out of the goal and Viliam Valábik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Dušan Švantner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukáš Balajty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dušan Švantner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Viliam Valábik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Chynorany FC's Dušan Švantner made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukáš Balajty was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lukáš Balajty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viliam Valábik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maroš Balajty to maneuver through the defense. Silvester Vranka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juraj Štefanka having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbert Prieložný during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Viliam Valábik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dušan Švantner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukáš Balajty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Krajčík in the 53rd minute of play forced Chynorany FC's goalkeeper Juraj Štefanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dušan Švantner came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chynorany FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dušan Švantner couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes Barcelona FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stanislav Matto who took care of the corner kick. 63 minutes into the match, Barcelona FC's goalkeeper Lukáš Balajty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dušan Švantner. Viliam Valábik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukáš Balajty having to interfere. Viliam Valábik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lukáš Balajty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Chynorany FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barcelona FC.
