Lechnica's Miroslav Sepeši played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Adamovič in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Ján Adamovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Sepeši saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ján Adamovič could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Miroslav Sepeši made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Adamovič in the 18th minute of play forced Lechnica's goalkeeper Miroslav Sepeši to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alojz Tomík hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lechnica's Miroslav Sepeši proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Lechnica from getting a goal against them. Miroslav Sepeši made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrej Ftáčnik in the 35th minute. Ján Adamovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Sepeši having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 84th minute Ján Adamovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Sepeši saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrej Ftáčnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Sepeši having to interfere.
