Ivan Pucher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbert Bejda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to FK SP getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jergus Móric hit a great ball. Róbert Bejda made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Oskar Jačiansky sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Viktor Činčurák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FK SP booed when Holice FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrej Sič didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holice FK's goalkeeper Vincent Kľúčik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Holice FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Pavúk in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Holice FK's corner Martin Pavúk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Róbert Bejda quite easily take care of the ball. FK SP's Viktor Činčurák got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ján Jančo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Róbert Ignátko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holice FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in FK SP's zone, Róbert Ignátko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Bejda came out of the goal and Róbert Ignátko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Pucher made a kick off. Viktor Činčurák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FK SP booed when Holice FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Jačiansky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Kľúčik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Činčurák, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. FK SP's Róbert Bejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Pucher in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Ivan Pucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jergus Móric hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Holice FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrej Sič to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Oskar Jačiansky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FK SP's zone, Róbert Ignátko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Bejda came out of the goal and Róbert Ignátko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Holice FK had played much better football throughout.
