Oto Salák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samo Gašparovič in the 12th minute of play. Oto Salák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Fabián, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbert Lovich got free with Ctibor Sečanský in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Marek Chrobák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Majerovce 05 XOOOO's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Chrobák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ctibor Sečanský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björn Andreasson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Chrobák to make the kick off. Štefan Malenovský charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Oto Salák was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 played minutes Björn Andreasson rounded Majerovce 05 XOOOO's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 70th minute, Miroslav Kišidaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomáš Fabián came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC 23 Hatalov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomáš Fabián couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Oliveiro in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oto Salák saved Majerovce 05 XOOOO from getting behind. In the 78th minute Marek Chrobák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ctibor Sečanský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Samo Gašparovič took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Oto Salák to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the game, Juraj Sylvestr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Majerovce 05 XOOOO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC 23 Hatalov the free kick. A collision led to Majerovce 05 XOOOO getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juraj Sylvestr hit a great ball. Samo Gašparovič's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oto Salák read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, FC 23 Hatalov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Fabián to maneuver through the defense. Oto Salák was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Samo Gašparovič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samo Gašparovič really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The Majerovce 05 XOOOO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC 23 Hatalov were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
