Matúš Vitkovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matúš Horváth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Vladislav Kuba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matúš Vitkovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ľubomír Paštrnák's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Radoslav Zobor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Radoslav Zobor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ľubomír Paštrnák, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ľubomír Paštrnák was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Černý got free with Matúš Vitkovič in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Černý succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 58th playminute. Vladislav Kuba scored 0-13 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matúš Vitkovič, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Peter Černý dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matúš Vitkovič, 0-14. When the final whistle sounded FC DAC 1904 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Liverpool FC.
