The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matej Halgoš hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Majerovce 05 XOOOO's Marek Chrobák broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Juraj Jesenský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Pucher hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Marek Chrobák came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Majerovce 05 XOOOO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Chrobák couldn't finish the play. Andrej Sič kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Róbert Ignátko made a precise shot to the right of Oto Salák. Majerovce 05 XOOOO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marek Chrobák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Chrobák in the 37th minute of play forced Holice FK's goalkeeper Vincent Kľúčik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Marek Chrobák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marek Chrobák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marek Chrobák made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Andrej Sič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oto Salák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Holice FK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ivan Pucher hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes Holice FK got a freekick which was hit by Dušan Mihalík. A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Majerovce 05 XOOOO's Marek Chrobák after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 56th minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. Marek Chrobák's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vincent Kľúčik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vincent Kľúčik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juraj Jesenský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Holice FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juraj Sylvestr fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andrej Sič struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Oto Salák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holice FK. 72 minutes into the match, Róbert Ignátko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oto Salák. Majerovce 05 XOOOO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbert Ignátko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 76 minutes, Juraj Jesenský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Majerovce 05 XOOOO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juraj Jesenský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrej Sič hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Marek Chrobák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vincent Kľúčik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Majerovce 05 XOOOO's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Ignátko came free, but Oto Salák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Marek Chrobák in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 95 minutes into the match, Róbert Ignátko notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Majerovce 05 XOOOO's Oto Salák. Oto Salák was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Holice FK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
