Spectators: 7106 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Ersan Sayfi made the kick off and thus started the match. Stano Čerňan came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Hlohovec's Ersan Sayfi. But to his dismay, Ersan Sayfi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With 8 minutes on the clock, Rudolf Košičan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hlohovec! If Ersan Sayfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stano Čerňan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Smrtič, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 18 minutes Hlohovec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marián Olšanský who took care of the corner kick. FK 1952's Marián Olšanský was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Matej Vičan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FK 1952's Eugen Gerbóc got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Ersan Sayfi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stano Čerňan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Ersan Sayfi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stano Čerňan was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Viliam Stupala hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Ersan Sayfi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stano Čerňan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ersan Sayfi put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Stano Čerňan. 44 minutes into the match, FK 1952's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Smrtič came free, but Stano Čerňan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The supporters of FK 1952 booed when Hlohovec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ľubomír Rechtorík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marián Konrád received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stano Čerňan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stano Čerňan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ersan Sayfi's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Marián Konrád fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stano Čerňan having to interfere. If Marián Konrád had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stano Čerňan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ersan Sayfi sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, FK 1952 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Quallich to maneuver through the defense. Stano Čerňan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ersan Sayfi in the 73rd minute. When Viliam Stupala was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Viliam Stupala kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Stano Čerňan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Stankovič in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ersan Sayfi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stano Čerňan, 0-6. Hlohovec's Marián Konrád got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marián Konrád sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stano Čerňan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marián Konrád went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Kamil Lukáč sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hlohovec's Ersan Sayfi in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK 1952's goalie prevented a goal. Stano Čerňan made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Marián Konrád sent off a good shot on target.
