After 5 minutes of play, Abranovce's Stanislav Kovach made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Špilár was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abranovce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Matej Breštenský scored to the left of an out of position Marián Hodža, making the score, 1-1. Marián Hodža was a little too slow when Stanislav Andrejkovič got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Mabusela Thwala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abranovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mabusela Thwala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Matej Breštenský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marián Hodža saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Špilár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Hossa in the 27th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gabriel Tobiáš in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Abranovce's Viktor Karabyn. Michal Špilár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Mncube, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Stanislav Kovach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abranovce's Marián Hodža proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Abranovce from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Judas Priest booed when Abranovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvester Minarik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Judas Priest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Viršik to maneuver through the defense. Milton Mncube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Špilár having to interfere. Marián Hodža showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Andrejkovič in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Matej Breštenský made the kick off in the second half. Michal Špilár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Mncube, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute Milton Mncube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Špilár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes Judas Priest's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Karabyn who took care of the corner kick. Martin Penkala tried in the game's 57th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Michal Špilár. An annoying self made goal, 2-2. Marián Hodža showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Kniha, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dušan Hossa scored 2-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michal Špilár, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marián Hodža showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Andrejkovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Dušan Hossa notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Judas Priest's Michal Špilár. A sloppy throw-in by Gabriel Tobiáš in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Abranovce's Gabriel Chrúst. Ivan Kniha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marián Hodža tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matej Breštenský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abranovce walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
