Spectators: 8476 (Terracing: 6358, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jozef Salák was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dušan Kračún showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ersan Sayfi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jozef Salák. Ersan Sayfi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Matej Vičan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marián Horňák in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Hlohovec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Kračún to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Tuka hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Miloš Maška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matej Vičan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Pecha's late challenge caught a Hlohovec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibor Pecha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Tibor Pecha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dušan Kračún was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ersan Sayfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Ersan Sayfi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Dušan Kračún shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Salák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Hlohovec's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Pencák came free, but Matej Vičan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ľubomír Rechtorík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Hlohovec's Ersan Sayfi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jozef Salák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 67 played minutes Hlohovec got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Tuka. 69 minutes into the match, Hlohovec's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Pencák came free, but Matej Vičan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Slivoň kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miloš Maška got free with Matej Vičan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The goalkeeper, Matej Vičan, was totally fooled by Dechtice's Miloš Maška, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Ivan Vlček fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dechtice's protests and gave Ivan Vlček a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, one of Dechtice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dechtice. In the 87th minute, Peter Smrtič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Ľubomír Rechtorík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matej Vičan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Pencák, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Hlohovec's Ľubomír Rechtorík got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jozef Salák didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ersan Sayfi went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Hlohovec were the better team. Hlohovec's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
