Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Milton Mncube got the match started through his kick off. Milton Mncube's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matej Vičan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The goalkeeper, Marián Hodža, was totally fooled by Hlohovec's Marián Konrád, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Hlohovec's Peter Smrtič got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th match minute, Abranovce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Karabyn to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the game, Gabriel Chrúst landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field.
