Daniel Koutný sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, FK 1952's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Labant came free, but Stano Čerňan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jakovany FK's Gabriel Labant in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK 1952's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK 1952's zone, Daniel Koutný stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stano Čerňan came out of the goal and Daniel Koutný tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Viliam Stupala fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK 1952's protests and gave Viliam Stupala a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Daniel Koutný had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stano Čerňan. FK 1952's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Koutný was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, FK 1952's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Labant came free, but Stano Čerňan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Daniel Švajda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stano Čerňan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kamil Lukáč fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ľubomír Babčan having to interfere. Eugen Gerbóc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FK 1952's Stano Čerňan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FK 1952 from getting a goal against them. Stano Telka hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to FK 1952 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marek Červený hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Gabriel Labant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Labant in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stano Čerňan saved FK 1952 from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Jakovany FK's Daniel Koutný dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gabriel Labant made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Jakovany FK's goalkeeper Ľubomír Babčan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamil Lukáč. Daniel Koutný fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stano Čerňan having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, FK 1952's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Labant came free, but Stano Čerňan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Eugen Gerbóc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ľubomír Babčan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Koutný had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Koutný struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Stano Čerňan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jakovany FK. Kamil Lukáč received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ľubomír Babčan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ľubomír Babčan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The supporters of Jakovany FK booed when FK 1952 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Telka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jakovany FK had won after a very even match.
