With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juraj Kolek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ersan Sayfi put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Juraj Kolek. Andrej Pacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matej Vičan having to interfere. Adrian Púchy kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Matej Vičan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ctibor Závada, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barcelona FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hlohovec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
