In the 14th minute Gabriel Labant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Salák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Salák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Labant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Gabriel Labant tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jozef Salák saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marián Horňák in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ľubomír Babčan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Horňák in the 27th minute of play forced Jakovany FK's goalkeeper Ľubomír Babčan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakovany FK's Ľubomír Babčan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Pencák in the 33rd minute of play. Marek Pencák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ľubomír Babčan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ľubomír Babčan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Pencák, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Jakovany FK booed when Dechtice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juraj Chudý didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Labant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The crowd rose to their feet as Marek Pencák kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ľubomír Babčan. That made the score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Peter Fajta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dechtice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jakovany FK the free kick. Peter Fajta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Vlastimil Kolník in the 57th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jozef Salák's left hand side. A collision led to Jakovany FK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Michal Cimerman hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Dechtice's Marek Pencák ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ľubomír Babčan. Ľubomír Babčan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Dechtice's Marek Pencák slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ľubomír Babčan. That made the score 0-3 after 71 minutes of play. Daniel Koutný sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Marek Pencák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ľubomír Babčan was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Jakovany FK's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Pencák came free, but Ľubomír Babčan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marián Horňák got free with Ľubomír Babčan in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Marek Pencák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Jakovany FK's goalkeeper Ľubomír Babčan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marián Horňák. In the 91st minute, Marián Horňák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Koutný sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jakovany FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dechtice's performance. The match ended with a win for Dechtice.
