FC Kings's Filip Filický played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viliam Lehotský in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of ŠK Drevárnici booed when FC Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Dudík didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half FC Kings were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andrej Glenda's late challenge caught a ŠK Drevárnici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrej Glenda helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes ŠK Drevárnici got a freekick which was hit by Marek Kajcer. Erik Sangret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ján Dudík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Samo Móder fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ŠK Drevárnici's protests and gave Samo Móder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ŠK Drevárnici getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Samo Móder hit a great ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Ján Dudík who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŠK Drevárnici's Erik Sangret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, ŠK Drevárnici's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Gombuš came free, but Erik Sangret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Ján Dudík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sangret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ŠK Drevárnici booed when FC Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Dudík didn't get a good kick on the ball. If František Kolbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Kings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
