A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, FC NOVA VIESKA's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Hučka came free, but Stanislav Sič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Sič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukáš Hučka's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Lukáš Hučka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Sič was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Lukáš Hučka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Sič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukáš Hučka might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Sič. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukáš Hučka ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Melon from getting a goal against them. Stanislav Sič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukáš Hučka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislav Sič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Hučka in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Melon booed when FC NOVA VIESKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Kršek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, FC Melon's Matej Adamec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stanislav Sič came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Melon reached it. Štefan Šípoš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ján Tuleja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC NOVA VIESKA booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomáš Semenník didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukáš Hučka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislav Sič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Janič, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Martin Filc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ján Tuleja. Martin Filc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.
54 minutes into the match, FC NOVA VIESKA's goalkeeper Stanislav Sič had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukáš Hučka. In the 58th minute, FC NOVA VIESKA's Róbert Muller seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Róbert Muller the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC NOVA VIESKA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Róbert Muller had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of FC NOVA VIESKA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Melon:s goal. Richard Štrbák kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, FC NOVA VIESKA's goal looked a bit too open when Matej Adamec came free, but Stanislav Sič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ján Tuleja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Filo in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC NOVA VIESKA's zone, Lukáš Hučka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Sič came out of the goal and Lukáš Hučka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Melon made a substitution. Peter Holub replaced Lukáš Hučka. When Dávid Mrázko came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC NOVA VIESKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Mrázko couldn't finish the play. Ján Tuleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Filo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Martin Filo made a precise shot to the right of Ján Tuleja. FC Melon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Holub got free with Stanislav Sič in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC NOVA VIESKA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Štrbák in the 97th minute. FC NOVA VIESKA's Richard Štrbák was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ján Tuleja in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
