Erik Sangret came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC NOVA VIESKA's Martin Filc. But to his dismay, Martin Filc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. ŠK Drevárnici's Erik Sangret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Zmoraj in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Martin Filc made a precise shot to the right of Erik Sangret. ŠK Drevárnici's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tomáš Fridrichovský in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanislav Sič, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ladislav Zmoraj scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Sangret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marek Rybársky hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Erik Sangret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Štrbák in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ladislav Zmoraj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC NOVA VIESKA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 24 minutes into the match, FC NOVA VIESKA's Martin Filc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Sangret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Sangret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Filc, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, FC NOVA VIESKA's goal looked a bit too open when František Kolbas came free, but Stanislav Sič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Štrbák's late challenge caught a ŠK Drevárnici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Štrbák helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ŠK Drevárnici booed when FC NOVA VIESKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Štrbák didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislav Sič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Horák in the 35th minute. Erik Sangret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Filo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes of play, FC NOVA VIESKA's Martin Filo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Sangret was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Sangret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Štefan Šípoš's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st match minute, ŠK Drevárnici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Sabadoš to maneuver through the defense. FC NOVA VIESKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Drevárnici the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Filc got free with Erik Sangret in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute Stanislav Horák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Sič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Viliam Lehotský who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC NOVA VIESKA's Stanislav Sič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC NOVA VIESKA's Stanislav Sič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Horák in the 80th minute of play.
