Despite this Zbyszko Rydzewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jurand Lepucki sped through fortnicka ghetto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszko Rydzewski. Zbyszko Rydzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Lepucki in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Martin Kubányi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaw Bara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 13th minute Ladislav Vácval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Bara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ján Zmoraj got free with Gustaw Bara in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislav Vácval who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Gustaw Bara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Plvan in the 19th minute of play forced fortnicka ghetto's goalkeeper Zbyszko Rydzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Rydzewski came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Creative Society's Marek Plvan. But to his dismay, Marek Plvan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, fortnicka ghetto's Štefan Turza got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ladislav Vácval received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustaw Bara came out and tried to block the shot, but Ladislav Vácval slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 28th minute. Gustaw Bara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ján Zmoraj's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Zbyszko Rydzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambróz Síkora in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Martin Kubányi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Lepucki in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbyszko Rydzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ladislav Vácval managed to get in a good position for a shot. fortnicka ghetto's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislav Vácval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Bara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matúš Vanko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zbyszko Rydzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jurand Lepucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jurand Lepucki made a kick off. Štefan Turza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gustaw Bara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaw Bara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Vácval, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
