A collision led to FK Kubko getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Michal Radejovský hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Miško in the 15th minute of play forced FK Kubko's goalkeeper Stanislav Žabka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Modesto Barto sped through FK Kubko's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanislav Žabka. FK Kubko's Stanislav Žabka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Makaj in the 21st minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stanislav Žabka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Barto went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Róbert Petrek in the 65th minute really tested Stanislav Žabka's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Stanislav Žabka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Barto's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Barto in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislav Žabka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Modesto Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Barto came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stanislav Žabka could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FK Kubko's zone, Andrej Vinarčík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Žabka came out of the goal and Andrej Vinarčík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Barto might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Žabka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Barto ran back to his position shaking his head. Modesto Barto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Stanislav Žabka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FK Kubko's Stanislav Žabka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FK Kubko from getting a goal against them. Modesto Barto in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanislav Žabka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 90 minutes into the game, Burning Angels's Andrej Vinarčík nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislav Žabka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Modesto Bartos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Stanislav Žabka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stanislav Žabka acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fredric Björk. Burning Angels's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
