After 6 played minutes, Burning Angels's Lajos Miško shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Štefan Šandal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burning Angels reached it. After 10 played minutes, MŠK Púchov's Lukáš Štovčík shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper František Huba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MŠK Púchov reached it. 11 minutes into the match, Modesto Barto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Štefan Šandal. MŠK Púchov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Barto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Modesto Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Štefan Šandal having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Peter Zeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes, Hugo Drobňák mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MŠK Púchov and the Burning Angels players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Drobňák kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Štefan Šandal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Barto went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the MŠK Púchov defense, Modesto Barto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Štefan Šandal. The MŠK Púchov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Štefan Šandal should have stopped the shot. MŠK Púchov's Štefan Šandal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Barto in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Barto in the 41st minute of play forced MŠK Púchov's goalkeeper Štefan Šandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Štefan Šandal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Barto's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

Lukáš Štovčík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. František Huba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Ivan Makaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Šandal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Klein hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Lajos Miško managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burning Angels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lajos Miško was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Burning Angels booed when MŠK Púchov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vojtech Kliment didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Burning Angels's Modesto Barto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Štefan Šandal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Modesto Barto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Štefan Šandal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Modesto Barto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 66th playminute. When Modesto Barto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Burning Angels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Barto couldn't finish the play. Štefan Šandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Makaj in the 71st minute of play. Štefan Šandal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Barto in the 74th minute of the match. Burning Angels's Modesto Barto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 92 minutes into the match, MŠK Púchov's Lukáš Štovčík sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that František Huba narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
